Vivitek Previews Complete Interactive Teaching Solution for Education
Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, January 28, 2013 – On Stand 4-S70 Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative visual presentation products, is today previewing a complete interactive teaching solution for the education sector. A wide range of new interactive projectors, user-friendly NovoTeach software, offer a ground-breaking approach to interactive learning in the classroom, while opening up an exciting new business growth opportunity for systems integrators.

The D858WTPB is a high brightness (3000 ANSI Lumen), short-throw projector that uses PointBlank (PB) technology from TI® to turn any surface into an interactive whiteboard (IWB). Capable of delivering a large 2.25m WXGA image from only a metre distance, the D858WTPB is the ideal high-performance classroom projector solution. Offering a wide range of connectivity options, the model also comes bundled with free NovoTeach software for integration with tablet computers and PCs for a complete interactive learning experience.
Also new for the education sector is Vivitek’s new compact series of ultra-short throw projectors. The three models in the range give a choice of performance specification to suit project and budget requirements. D755WTi offers full IWB functionality with the addition of two-way communication that allows two users i.e. teacher / pupil to use infrared pens simultaneously. The D755WTi is a WXGA projector that features DLP® and BrilliantColor™ technologies for a sharp detailed image, in all types of learning environment. The D751STi interactive projectors offers high brightness and long lamp life, as well as XGA native resolution for high efficiency, economical performance.
Newly updated with interactive features are the two D7 Series models; the D796WTPB and D792STPB. Both ultra-short-throw projectors, they can be easily installed in a space-limited classroom without compromising performance or user experience. PB technology is integral to both models and the XGA version (D792STPB) and WXGA (D796WTPB) are compatible with the NovoTeach software, which is supplied free of charge.
NovoTeach is an interactive whiteboard software package that is designed especially for teaching at all learning levels, whether classroom teaching or lecture material preparation. With dual-sensing enabled and a Vivitek interactive projector, it is an effective and powerful tool that offers a new blueprint for future-proof interactive learning.
